With a deep respect for the environment, relying on ecological technologies, we rebuild the old hull of the Estancia Cerro del Paso, located on the southern margin of Deseado estuary, 40 km from its mouth.
This Estancia was a strategic point in the transport of wool and other merchandise, uniting through the estuary, the most distant Patagonia with the Pampas. Transformed today in Darwin Camp- Eco Lodge, we merge the authentic Patagonian style of its structure with an exquisite and personalized service: 4 rooms with private bathroom, full board & activities full of history, adventure and nature, are perfect to be enchanted by the magnificence of the place.
The contrast of these lands and their landscapes captivates us as they captivated Charles Darwin back in 1833, choosing this place to camp and capture his wealth in drawings and his later theory of evolution. The imposing estuary, its canyons full of history and unforgettable characters, the immensity of the steppe, the spectacular nature of the furthest Patagonia and the enormous wealth of flora and marine fauna and steppe - is part of the Intangible Natural Reserve of the estuary.
